Privacy Policy

Plain English. No dark patterns. If anything here is unclear, email hello@revisit.cards and we will rewrite it.

Who we are

Revisit is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We build wallet loyalty cards for shops. For merchant accounts, Revisit is responsible for the data in this policy. For customers of a shop that uses Revisit, the shop is responsible for your personal data and we process it on the shop's behalf.

What we collect from merchants

When you sign up to run a loyalty program we collect your name, email, business name and the details you add to your card, such as your reward and colours. We also keep the customer records your program creates.

Like any website we log basic server data (IP address, browser and time) for security and fixing problems.

What we collect from cardholders

When you join a shop's card we store the name and phone number you enter, on the shop's behalf, along with your stamps, visits and rewards. We also create a unique card link and, if you add it, an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet card on your phone.

When you open a shop's join page we also note, without asking you anything, how you got there and what you use: your IP address (kept encrypted), your browser, phone system and device type, your language and time zone, your screen size, your connection type, the website or app that sent you, the tags on the link or QR code you opened, and how long the page took to fill in. This tells the shop which poster or link brings customers, and helps us catch bots and repeat sign-ups. We do not ask for your location and we do not use advertising IDs or fingerprinting.

If you only open the page and leave, we keep a count with no name or number, and delete it after 90 days. If you join, the details above are kept with your card until the shop erases you.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to train outside AI models. We do not share customers between shops: each shop sees only its own list. We do not track you across the internet.

Wallet cards and notifications

Wallet cards are delivered by Apple and Google, who update the card on your phone. You can remove a card, or turn off its notifications, at any time from the Wallet app.

How long we keep it

Customer records stay while the shop's account is active. When a shop erases a customer, their name and phone number and the join details (including the IP address) are removed straight away, their card link stops working, and only visit counts remain. If a shop deletes its business, there is a 14-day grace period in case it changes its mind. After that, its data is purged.

Your rights

You can ask the shop for a copy of the data it holds on you, and ask it to correct or delete that data, or to stop sending you offers. If the shop does not respond, email hello@revisit.cards and we will follow up.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored and processed on secure cloud infrastructure. We use trusted providers for hosting and wallet card delivery, and we require each of them to protect your data.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party tracking. If you book a demo, the booking form is provided by Cal.com.

Children

Revisit is not meant for children under 13. Shops must not enrol anyone under 13 in a loyalty program.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
